To me the 30 shoots just softer enough for you to tell it. I am actually more accurate with the 30, don't know why. A friend that is a firearms instructor said it's due to being aware of the shorter barrel and concentrating more on the sight picture.

The 30SF is the more comfortable 30 to shoot. I use it for practice, and as a woods gun loaded with heavy cast or Lehigh penetrators. Prefer the 30S with JHPs for carry.
